Future Lab: Choose Science! (This is an invitation only event for secondarly schools)
A mini FameLab competition where 4 FameLab Ireland alumni present for 3 minutes on an aspect of science (no PowerPoint and only props they can carry). Audience members hold the power and will vote on the winner. This will be followed by a discussion and Q&A session on studies/careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, maths), as well as the importance of science communication.
There will be 2 workshops and each will last approximately 1hr (starting at 11am and 2pm). The workshops will take place at Mountmellick Public Library, Mountmellick, Co. Laois.
