Action, animation, drama – expect this and more from Short Shorts – a selection of European short films from the home countries of seven members of EUNIC Ireland (European Union National Institutes for Culture). Let Austria, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain and the UK entertain you with a variety of genres from contemporary, cutting-edge filmmakers. Galway Film Fleadh, the Cork Film Festival and the IFI will also present short films from Ireland at the event.

The EUNIC Ireland cluster is composed of the Alliance Française, the Austrian Embassy, the British Council, Culture Ireland, the Goethe-Institut, the Instituto Cervantes / AECID, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura, the Embassy of Bulgaria, the Embassy of Greece and the Embassy of Romania / Romanian Cultural Institute.

2018 marks the first year of a EUNIC Ireland/Galway Film Fleadh partnership.
