The British Council is delighted to this year engage with Ireland at Venice 2015.
Working in partnership with commissioner, Mike Fitzpatrick, the British Council has supported residencies that enable three interns from Northern Ireland to spend 4-6 weeks working at the Pavilion of Ireland at the 56th International Art Exhibition at the Venice Biennale 2015.
The interns are Chloé Morrison, Arts Administrator recently working at Golden Thread Gallery, Belfast; Phillip McCrilly, former Co-Director at Catalyst Arts and Paola Bernardelli, artist, photographer and studio programme coordinator of VOID Gallery, Derry-Londonderry.
The interns are managing logistics, access and promotion of the Sean Lynch, ADVENTURE: CAPITAL exhibition at the prestigious Arsenale in Venice, Italy. Sean’s work is curated by Woodrow Kernohan based at EVA in Limerick.
ADVENTURE: CAPITAL runs from 9 May – 22 November 2015 and you can find out more via the links below.
