British Council Ireland are delighted to be able to work with the Britsih Council Research and Insights team to share the results of the 2023 Global Perceptions Survey with Irish partners and stakeholders. The Global Perceptions Survey gathers information on the UK’s attractiveness and trust through a survey with 18-34yr olds. This survey was conducted in 18 of the G20 countries and Ireland, along with a number of other countries, and was included in the most recent iteration of Global Perceptions, which launched 5 December 2023.

In order to explore these findings British Council Ireland will bring together approximately 20 young people, from Ireland, aged 18-34yrs in a focussed session on March 27th in Dublin City Centre. During this session the young people will come together to discuss the findings of the survey and what that means for the Ireland/UK relationship. This focus group will be facilitated by Co-Operation Ireland, which is an all-island peace building organisation.

We will then share the findings from this focus group, alongside the findings from the quantitative data form the survey, in a high-level stakeholder briefing on the same day where we willbe joined by various key partenrs and stakeholders in the Ireland/UK relationship.

British Council Ireland are delighted to be parntering with Co-Operation Ireland on this event.

More information will be available on our website following the event.
