Self-confessed triple threat artist Lucy McCormick makes club installations, cabaret interventions and extravaganza theatre shows.

This practical workshop will give participants an insight into Lucy's performance-making practice via research, writing, devising, choreography and karaoke.  Interests in pop iconography, image culture and mass consumption will make way for experimentations in mess, destruction and despair.  The workshop will include heavy elements of dance and song, although no prior experience is necessary - amateurism is welcomed!

This workshop is delivered in partnership with Dublin Fringe Festival, Project Arts Centre and British Council Ireland. Lucy will perform her work TRIPLE THREAT as part of NEIGHBOURS at this year’s Dublin Fringe Festival.  See for more information & booking.

About Lucy

Lucy is an actor/performer whose hit show TRIPLE THREAT took the Edinburgh Fringe by storm and had a sell-out run at the Soho Theatre in March and April of 2017. TRIPLE THREAT showed post-popular prodigy Lucy McCormick and her Girl Squad presenting a provocative, subversive cabaret retelling of the greatest story of all time.

Lucy was nominated for Emerging Artist at the Total Theatre Awards and was the winner of the TV Bomb Groundbreaker Award. She has recently been announced as a 2017 Artist in Residence for the Royal Vauxhall Tavern’s Duckie nights and is a Research Fellow in the Department of English Drama at Queen Mary University London.
