Self-confessed triple threat artist Lucy McCormick makes club installations, cabaret interventions and extravaganza theatre shows.
This practical workshop will give participants an insight into Lucy's performance-making practice via research, writing, devising, choreography and karaoke. Interests in pop iconography, image culture and mass consumption will make way for experimentations in mess, destruction and despair. The workshop will include heavy elements of dance and song, although no prior experience is necessary - amateurism is welcomed!
This workshop is delivered in partnership with Dublin Fringe Festival, Project Arts Centre and British Council Ireland. Lucy will perform her work TRIPLE THREAT as part of NEIGHBOURS at this year’s Dublin Fringe Festival. See www.fringefest.com for more information & booking.
