Monday 14 May 2018 to Wednesday 16 May 2018

Pint of Science Ireland will bring some of the most brilliant scientists in Ireland to local pubs across four cities in May 2018 (Cork, Dublin, Galway & Limerick). They will discuss their latest research and findings and there will be a wide range of topics to appeal to all tastes:

Beautiful Mind - neuroscience, psychology and psychiatry

Atoms to Galaxies - physics, chemistry, maths, astronomy

Our Body - medicine, human biology, health

Planet Earth - geosciences, plant sciences, zoology

Tech Me Out - biotechnology, robotics, computers

Our Society - law, history, politics, policy, languages

You don't need any prior knowledge, and this will be a great chance to meet some of the people responsible for the future of science (and have a pint with them!)

The Pint of Science festival will run from 14-16 May 2018 and will feature some of our top FameLab Ireland alumni:

Lisa Murphy and 'Mind Time: The Science of Future Thinking and its Effects on Human Behaviour', 15 May, The Friary, Cork

Joanne Duffy and ‘Barnacles, bacteria and beyond’, 14 May, Campbell’s Tavern, Galway
