On Monday 23 February 2026, we are supporting a presentation by Ben Luxford, the British Film Institute’s Director of UK wide audiences, who will take part in a panel discussion on issues relating to film distribution in a UK Ireland context.
The panel will also include Sinéad O’Riordan, producer of Swingbout – the Dublin International Film Festival (DIFF) ‘25 success story – who will provide insight into her distribution journey and what’s next for the film and her impending worldwide deal.
We will also be joined by Pat Concannon of Mayo Movie World on building audiences in Ireland and Sivakumar Murugadoss from AKS Entertainments, the largest distributor of Indian cinema in Ireland.
It’s set to be a valuable discussion for anyone working across the UK-Ireland film ecosystem and promises useful insights on engaging across both markets in the current climate.
