13th September 2016 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of one of the most gloriumptious, woopsy-wiffling, wondercrump writers in the English language. We are referring, of course, to Roald Dahl.
British Council has pulled together a host of swashboggling assets with the lovely people at the Roald Dahl Literary Estate to help you celebrate the anniversary in Ireland and promote reading, story-writing, English and education to young people. This can be done on Dahl’s birthday itself or at another time during the year.
