Unlimited 2024

British Council Ireland sent three delegates from Ireland to Unlimited Festival in London in September 2024. The Irish delegation consisted of Louise Costelloe from Dance Ireland and Padraig Naughton and Adrian Colwell from Arts & Disability Ireland (on behalf of Project Arts Centre).

This year, Unlimited took place from 4 – 8 Sep 2024 at the Southbank Centre in London. Celebrating the artistic vision and creativity of disabled artists, Unlimited is a multi-artform festival showcasing outstanding dance, performance, comedy, music, poetry and visual art. Southbank Centre have been presenting the festival since 2012 in partnership with Unlimited. The festival provides a platform for new commissions and existing work, shared with audiences from around the world. Find out more and view the programme here

Louise Costelloe shared her thoughts on the experience:

"Opportunities like this are so valuable, sharing knowledge and expertise and making connections are vital to the development of our work."

" ...There was time for structured and informal discussion and networking, and it was great to see so much high-quality work. I particularly enjoyed the pitching session, it was good to give so much time to this and allow artists to give context for their work. " - Louise Costelloe, Dance Ireland.
