Our work in arts creates new relationships between artists, organisations and audiences to develop stronger creative sectors around the world. We help artists to break new ground, support creativity and innovation, increase capacity by building skills to support livelihoods and cultural enterprise, extend safe spaces for creative exchange and contribute to research and policy.

Taigh/Tŷ/Teach is a major, tri-lingual co-production of a new site-specific piece written by Màiri Morrison (Scotland), Eva O’Connor (Ireland) and Mared Llywelyn Williams (Wales).

Weft Studio by Dublin Fringe Festival

British Council Ireland are supporting Weft Studio 2024, a Dublin Fringe Festival talent development initiative for emerging and early career Black and global majority artists.

Irish Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle Network: DIVE #3

We supported multidisciplinary Northern Irish artist, Ashton, to attend DIVE #3 in August 2024 in Ireland, organised by ISACS and Waterford Spraoi.

Chariots of Fire Screening

We hosted a screening of Chariots of Fire with British Embassy in Dublin with producer Lord David Puttnam & Irish Olympian and presenter David Gillick to mark the 2024 Paris Olympics.

ULYSSES European Odyssey

British Council Ireland were delighted to support ULYSSES European Odyssey (UEO), an epic project which took place from 2022-2024 across 18 cities in 16 countries.

International Literature Festival Dublin
